Shuanglang is a small tranquil fishing village located on the banks of Erhai Lake in Dali in southwestern China's Yunnan Province. Surrounded by low mountain ranges and facing the velvety water of Erhai Lake, the village has become an emerging tourist site.
Using cormorants to catch fish on Erhai Lake was once a prosperous tradition in Shuanglang. But today only a few still keep the practice alive.
